The project, led by Can Tho University and chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thi Le Minh, is expected to be implemented over two years.
The project leader presented the research findings to the review board.
The research team will collaborate with chicken farmers and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Can Tho City to carry out specific research activities. Through this, they will extract several bioactive substances from herbs and citrus by-products to produce herbal preparations with antibacterial activity, which can improve the growth and health of broiler chickens.
This is a new study, highly relevant and applicable, contributing to the development of the city's poultry industry.
