Mr. Duong Xuan Nam, Vice Chairman of Ngoc Chien Commune People's Committee, said: The commune focuses on attracting investment in trade, services, and tourism by creating a transparent, favorable, and fair business environment; reforming administrative procedures, promoting technology application and digital transformation. At the same time, strengthening inspection and control of smuggling, counterfeit goods, and poor quality goods; mobilizing resources to build infrastructure to serve the development of trade and services in the area.
The convenient transportation system helps people expand production, business, and trade in goods, from food services to household appliances, electronics, etc. With more than 10 years of grocery business in the center of Ngoc Chien commune, Ms. Lo Thi Thuy, Dong Xuong village, said: The shopping needs of people and tourists are increasing, so I expanded the store, diversified the products, and prioritized Vietnamese goods of good quality and clear origin. Thanks to that, the store has created a reputation and become a trusted address for consumers. Currently, the store also applies cashless payment, convenient for customers when shopping.

Along with commercial activities, the types of services and tourism in the commune are also focused on, diversified in types, ensuring professionalism and civilization in service, meeting the needs of the people and tourists. Currently, the whole commune has 35 homestays, with 40 stilt houses, 60 bungalows and 120 closed rooms, meeting the accommodation needs of 12,000 visitors/year, with a revenue of about 12 billion VND.
Stopping at Suoi Chien homestay in Muong Chien village, we were impressed by the stilt house made entirely of po mu wood, from here we could see the fields and the nature of the poetic Ngoc Chien village. Ms. Lo Thi Ha, owner of Suoi Chien homestay, said: Understanding the needs of tourists, in 2022, my family invested in a homestay with 2 communal stilt houses and 3 bungalows, serving a large number of tourists to experience and stay. In addition to accommodation services, I also serve food at the homestay, the menu is typical dishes of the Thai ethnic group. From the homestay business, the family has earned an income of 15-20 million VND/month.

Choosing a homestay in Ngoc Chien commune as a weekend getaway for her family, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Hoa, a tourist from Hanoi , shared: Coming to Ngoc Chien, I was impressed by the natural landscape, fresh climate and hot mineral bath experience. The homestays here have a traditional style, have spacious common living spaces, and display many ethnic items, creating a sense of closeness. We also got to interact and learn about the local life and culture, and then brought back memories of the fairy-tale countryside and the friendly, lovable people of Ngoc Chien.
Ngoc Chien's socio-economic situation is increasingly prosperous.
