Recently, KyuHyun - a member of the famous group Super Junior posted on his personal Youtube channel a video reviewing the pho dish he had the chance to enjoy during his trip to Vietnam to hold the Super Show 9 concert.
Not only KyuHyun, before that, many famous Korean stars and music groups were also conquered and attracted by Vietnamese pho such as Hyun Bin, Park Hoon, BTS, BlackPink,...

KyuHyun revealed that he is very fond of Vietnamese pho and has enjoyed it many times while traveling here. This time, the male idol chose a famous pho restaurant on Nguyen Trai Street, in the center of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City after researching and seeing that this restaurant received many good reviews online.
“This pho restaurant is famous, not only many locals but also Koreans love it. The restaurant is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel, so I decided to experience eating pho here,” KyuHyun said in the clip.

At the pho restaurant, the Super Junior member ordered a large bowl of pho, filled with meat and broth. He showed that he was quite knowledgeable about Vietnamese cuisine when he tried the first spoonful and felt the pure flavor of the broth.
"You have to taste the broth before adding anything else. The meat in the broth is thick and there's a lot of it," KyuHyun said with delight.
He even showed his skill and "gourmet" like the Vietnamese when he mixed a separate bowl of dipping sauce with chili sauce and tomato sauce to eat separately to keep the rich flavor of the broth in the bowl.
While eating, KyuHyun kept exclaiming "wow", "really delicious", "crazy delicious" because the pho had a rich broth and the meat was just the right amount of chewy and tender.
Because he loves Vietnamese pho so much, the male idol chose a big bowl to satisfy his craving (Photo cut from clip).
As a long-time fan of Vietnamese pho, the male idol also compared pho in Ho Chi Minh City with pho in Hanoi and commented that the broth is equally rich and attractive.
Another plus point of this pho restaurant that KyuHyun really likes is that the pho does not have coriander - a vegetable that he cannot eat.
In Vietnam, people often chop coriander (also known as Vietnamese coriander) into small pieces to put in the pho bowl and then pour the broth over it before serving the customers. However, when enjoying pho at this restaurant, KyuHyun had no difficulty and felt lucky to be able to fully enjoy his favorite dish.
"The pho here is cooked like it's for kids, you can't really smell the coriander, very suitable for people like me," he said.
It is known that the bowl of pho KyuHyun ate costs 90,000 VND/bowl.
“At 90,000 VND, it looks expensive in Vietnam but it only costs 5,000 won. A bowl of pho like this for 5,000 won is very cheap, to eat like this in Korea it would cost 13,000 won. It is really delicious, nutritious and cheap,” he commented.

Notably, this time, instead of drinking iced tea or other familiar drinks when eating pho like Vietnamese people, the Super Junior member ordered iced milk coffee as a side drink. Although it is not a refreshing drink, only suitable for sipping slowly, the male idol still continuously praised it as delicious and found it to be to his liking even when eating pho.
Kyuhyun revealed that he normally doesn’t drink coffee but will “break the rule” if it’s Vietnamese coffee. He also enthusiastically introduced in the video: “This is iced milk coffee, those who have watched New Journey to the West (Korean reality TV show) will know that the members of our group really like this coffee mixed with condensed milk.”
At the end of the video, the male idol also revealed that, in addition to pho and iced milk coffee, he also wants to enjoy banh mi and banh xeo whenever he has the opportunity to visit Vietnam.
