According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Vu - Principal of the school, right from the time the Departmentof Education and Training deployed the Sports Festival plan at the beginning of the school year, the School Board of Directors has synchronously deployed specific activities to create resources and develop the team such as assigning teachers to train, planning training, implementing the school-level Sports Festival plan, connecting with other units to organize tournaments to compete for students. Thanks to this careful and synchronous preparation, the school's teams have trained and competed to become more mature and perfect.

Student Nguyen Tran Thanh - Class 12A1, Gold Medalist in Pole Pushing, said: At the previous Congress, I was "empty-handed" but the teacher   Pham Dung - Physical Education teacher always reminds us not to be discouraged, to invest more effort, to make more efforts to practice. Thanks to that, we have more motivation during the whole process of practicing, competing and in this Congress, my whole school's pole pushing team and I have achieved results worthy of our training efforts.

"My school's Pole Pushing Team has 16 members. What I learned through training and competing with the team is not only confidence, effort and ambition but also the ability to plan, manage and organize training. I am happy because this year I have achieved the goal that our teacher expected" - Nguyen Tran Thanh shared.

Teachers and students of Loc Thanh High School received Gold Medal in Women's Volleyball

As for Tran Khanh Ly - a student of class 12A2, Captain of the Women's Volleyball Team that won the Gold Medal at the Congress, said: "The semi-final match was very difficult because we played in the hot sun, the team was far behind, but when we saw our teachers and parents traveling more than a hundred kilometers to cheer us on, we forgot all the difficulties, together we pulled ourselves together and won against the other team."

Being good at both volleyball and studying, Khanh Ly said, “To be able to balance between high-intensity training and academic performance, we have to take advantage of the days off to focus. At home or in physical education class, we practice individually according to the lessons that the teacher has instructed and the whole team always determines that volleyball is a passion but studying is still the main task.”

Talking about the training process at school, Mr. Pham Dung said: There are difficulties in terms of training grounds, training equipment and team members spread across all 3 grades. There are students who live far away and have difficult family conditions, but by taking advantage of all possible conditions, dividing the training content for each group and especially always being close to promptly share and resolve the difficulties and problems of the students is a way that the Board of Directors and teachers always pay attention to.

Teacher Ha Hoai Phong shares the joy of victory with his students at the Congress

When mentioning the sports achievements of Loc Thanh High School, we cannot fail to mention Mr. Ha Hoai Phong - the school's martial arts coach. Out of a total of 61 medals, Mr. Phong's students have 8 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals and 19 Bronze Medals in Traditional Martial Arts, Vovinam, Karatedo, Taekwondo.

In 2015, after graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports, Mr. Phong returned to work at Loc Thanh High School - the school that had helped Phong's dream come true during his 3 years of high school. Sharing with us, Mr. Phong said: The most difficult part of the training process was convincing parents because some parents were afraid that their children's training would affect their studies, and then they would get injured and affect their future. However, by sharing so that parents could understand and take the principles of safety and discipline as the top priority throughout the training and competition process, Mr. Phong and his students received the support of parents and overcame all difficulties.

Ms. Tran Thi Vui - a parent whose child is studying at Loc Thanh High School shared: "We feel very secure when our child is studying at the school. We are ready to stand side by side with the school throughout the process of our children studying culture as well as practicing sports".

According to Mr. Phong, in recent years, he was assigned by the Lam Dong Department of Education and Training to lead the Vovinam Team of the provincial Education Sector to participate in and win many medals at regional and national tournaments.

Not only are there outstanding achievements in the Phu Dong Sports Festival, the Provincial Sports Festival, and the National Defense Sports Festival, but the sports movement at Loc Thanh High School has also developed strongly because the school leaders always identify maintaining these movements as one of the ways to create an atmosphere of "Every day at school is a happy day" for more than a thousand students of the school.

In addition to the achievements in physical education and sports, over the 25 years since the school was founded, the school's teaching and learning achievements have continuously increased year by year, such as the graduation rate always surpassing the average level of the province, the number of students winning high prizes in competitions such as the Science and Technology Research Competition, the Provincial Excellent Student Competition in Cultural Subjects has increased in both quantity and ranking. In the 2023-2024 school year alone, the graduation rate is 100%, the students won 2 prizes in the Science and Technology Research Competition, 19 prizes in the Provincial Excellent Student Competition in Cultural Subjects.
