On October 26, to respond to storm No. 6 (Tra Mi) in the East Sea, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra District assigned the Chief of the District Police to preside over the implementation of blockades in flooded areas, deep flooded areas, fast-flowing water areas, areas at risk of landslides... not allowing people to enter dangerous areas.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra District also requested the District Police, the District Military Command, the People's Committee of Tho Quang Ward, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, and related functional forces to organize road closures, prohibiting people and vehicles from circulating on Son Tra Peninsula (except official vehicles).

The checkpoint location is at Hoang Sa Street (the intersection of Le Van Luong - Hoang Sa Street to Son Tra Mountain); the road to Son Tra - Ngu Hanh Son Inter-District Forest Protection Department (the intersection of Yet Kieu Street - the road to Son Tra - Ngu Hanh Son Inter-District Forest Protection Department to Son Tra Mountain); the military concrete road (the road to Company 4).
For accommodation establishments in the Son Tra peninsula area, if there is a need for circulation, they must register the specific vehicle number, number of people along with a commitment to ensure safety for people and vehicles when circulating and send it to the Son Tra District Police.
