He also gave up some of his family's land so that Ms. Be could build a house and stabilize her life. Currently, he is also sponsoring two orphaned Co ethnic siblings to educate them until adulthood.

He is also a pioneer in mobilizing people to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws on socio-economic development, contributing to the development of the Co ethnic village in Tra Giang. Last year, when the locality had a policy to build a people's road, he stood up to mobilize many households to donate land to speed up the progress. To make people believe and listen, his family voluntarily donated more than 120 square meters of land, thanks to which the concrete road was completed quickly, meeting the travel and production needs of the people.

In Phuoc My commune, Phuoc Son district, Mr. Ho Van Ly (70 years old) is considered a "big tree" of the Ca Dong community. Thanks to his skillful communication and behavior, the movements initiated by Mr. Ly such as making concrete roads in the village, cultural, artistic, physical education, sports activities, preserving the national cultural identity... are all agreed upon and actively responded by the villagers.

Concerned about the difficult living conditions of the people in the commune, after carefully studying the economic experience from study trips and listening to the people's thoughts and aspirations, Mr. Ly and the local prestigious people have promoted the conversion of production models to the people, and some households have applied it with positive results.

Indeed, from 3 cows supported by the National Target Program 1719, up to now, his family has owned a herd of up to 15 cows, worth hundreds of millions of VND. In addition, his family has cleared land, planted 5 hectares of acacia, raised more than 100 chickens, with an annual income of 400 - 500 million VND. In the near future, he plans to test planting durian on the land.

For the Co Tu people in Dong Giang, the old man Colau Nhim (77 years old) is considered the keeper of the traditional cultural soul of the people. A former film industry official, old man Colau Nhim has experience in artistic activities, especially performing traditional mountain culture. Every time he appears with a flute in his hand, the whole mountain forest seems to join in the festival.

Every time he travels and meets friends who share his passion for traditional musical instruments, he gains new knowledge. That knowledge is then passionately taught by the old man Co Lau Nhim to the young generation of Co Tu as a way to show gratitude to the community.

In addition to his affinity with traditional musical instruments, Elder Colau Nhim also has a special passion for crafting traditional instruments that serve the Co Tu people’s daily life, such as panpipes, zithers, baskets, etc., and for crafting decorative reliefs for Guol houses. Currently, he is also teaching the art of carving statues and reliefs to young people with the hope that they will create unique products that contribute to the development of community tourism .

Mr. Sinh, Mr. Ly, Mr. Clau Nhim are some of the typical slices among hundreds of local prestigious people who have promoted their role for the community and locality. In the period of 2023 - 2027, Quang Nam has 386 prestigious people in the ethnic minority community. With their responsibility and enthusiasm, in many fields, this force has made a significant contribution to propagating and disseminating the policies of the Party and State to the people.

Elder Mac Van Min strives to collect and preserve the sayings and songs of the Co Tu people.

One of the people who contributed to collecting the cultural beauty of the Co Tu ethnic group, including the Ly singing and Ly speaking in Dong Giang, is Mr. Mac Van Min (77 years old, Tong Cooi village, Ba commune). Fearing the risk of extinction, he traveled to many places to collect and pass on to young people. Every time he acquired new knowledge, he carefully recorded it in his notebook, then gathered it to disseminate it whenever there was a village festival or an art performance.

Or in Song Kon commune, Dong Giang district, Mr. Briu Thien, Secretary of the Party Cell of Bho Hoong village is also one of the prestigious people loved by the people. Although he is over 70 years old, he is always enthusiastic about his work and exemplary in life. In addition to propagating the Co Tu people to implement the policies of the Party and the State, Mr. Thien also contributes greatly to preserving the traditional weaving craft.

According to the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Quang Nam province, prestigious people in the locality have made important contributions to the implementation of the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's laws and policies. They actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, do a good job of propaganda and mobilization, build great solidarity among ethnic groups, and are an important bridge between the Party committee, the government and the people.
