Before that, within the framework of the Hung Kings' death anniversary, the festival took place with competitions of folk games such as: sampan racing, tug of war, sack jumping, balloon popping... Participants were officials, civil servants, and public employees in the district and people in Tan Phu commune. The folk games with strong festival features, the unique mark of the people of the West, attracted a large number of people to participate, watch and cheer. All of these created a jubilant atmosphere for the Hung Kings' death anniversary to be more bustling and exciting.
The Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony at Hung Kings Temple, Giao Khau Hamlet, Tan Phu Commune, Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province bears the unique cultural features of the people of the southernmost land.
It is known that in order for this year's organization to take place solemnly, ensuring the right purpose, the locality has made preparations very early, with coordination and consensus, ensuring the organization is safe, economical, professional and effective, most of all, the people's hearts are turned towards the National Ancestor Hung Vuong.
