Although the Tran Nam Dinh Temple Seal Opening Ceremony will not take place until 12 midnight on February 23 (January 14, 2024), many people went there at 5 am to make offerings to avoid the crowds.

Recorded at 1:00 p.m. on February 23 (January 14, 2024), many people flocked to Tran Nam Dinh Temple to offer prayers before the opening ceremony.
According to the Tran Temple Organizing Committee, on February 23 (January 14), from 10:15 p.m. to 10:40 p.m., the incense offering ceremony will be held; from 10:40 p.m. to 11:10 p.m., the Seal Palanquin procession ceremony will be held; from 11:15 p.m., the Seal Opening Ceremony will be held; from 5 a.m., the seal distribution will be organized for people and visitors from all directions.
This year, the Organizing Committee distributed the seals at 4 doors including 3 Giai Vu houses and the Trung Hoa Temple exhibition house.

It is estimated that tens of thousands of tourists attend the Tran Temple's seal opening festival and visit the relic, especially during the two ceremonies of Ngoc Lo palanquin procession and fish worship on January 11 and 12.
It was noted that there was no jostling inside Tran Temple.
Outside, many people had also completed preparations to present offerings.
Mr. Tran Minh Chien, the keeper of Tran Temple, shared that preparations for the opening night of the festival were basically complete. After the first 3 days of the festival (from January 11 to 13), the management and organization of the festival ensured safety, health and civilization, with no violations of civilized lifestyle during the festival.
Children are also brought along by their parents even though it is raining.
Ms. Minh Nguyet, a tourist from Hai Phong, said she was excited to join the crowd heading to Tran Temple. "This year, there is no more jostling and pushing, my family also feels safer and more secure when going to Tran Temple festival. I go to Tran Temple to express my respect and gratitude to our ancestors, without the heavy mentality of worshipping, asking for blessings, or hoping for fame and position," said the visitor who got up at 5am this morning to go to Tran Temple.
The parking lot is arranged by the festival organizers about 1 km from the temple. The parking price is posted, so there is no overcharging.
