On the morning of February 26th (the 10th day of the first lunar month), a large number of people gathered at several gold shops on Tran Nhan Tong Street (Hanoi) to wait to buy gold for good luck on the day of the God of Wealth.

From early morning, a large crowd of people gathered at the Bao Tin Minh Chau gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong Street ( Hanoi ), queuing to buy gold.

Many people lined up from 4 a.m. to get a number to buy gold on this day.

Business staff instructed people to queue properly to ensure security and order in the area.

Many people believe that buying gold on the day of the God of Wealth brings good luck and prosperity to their family's business in the new year.

According to Hoang Thi Thuy Van, Deputy Head of Sales Department at Bao Tin Minh Chau Gold, Silver and Gemstone Company: “We anticipate a large number of customers, and we have prepared all necessary conditions to provide maximum support for customers to purchase gold quickly, conveniently, and in accordance with the law. This year, we are launching many new products to meet customer needs.”

According to Ms. Van, this year, people are mainly buying products related to the gold standard and the zodiac animal of the year.

People were thrilled to be able to buy gold at the beginning of the new year.

Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Nhung (Thanh Xuan ward, Hanoi) shared: “I am very happy and excited to be one of the first people to buy gold on the day of the God of Wealth. I hope that this year my family will have much good fortune in all endeavors.”

"Although the price of gold is rising, I bought a small quantity, so the amount I had to pay wasn't too much," Ms. Nhung added.

At over 7 a.m., many people were still queuing to buy gold at a shop on Tran Nhan Tong Street.
