The Miss World 2025 finals took place on the evening of May 31 (Vietnam time) in Telangana, India. The contest had 108 beauties from many countries and territories participating.
The final night included competitions such as ensemble performance, traditional Indian costume performance, evening gown performance, speech and behavior. The judges selected the contestants into the top 40, 20, 8 and 4 and then announced 1 beauty queen and 3 runners-up.
After the question and answer round, the top 4 beauties were named: Aurelie Joachim (Martinique), Hasset Dereje Admassu (Ethiopia), Maja Klajda (Poland), Opal Suchata Chuangsri (Thailand).
In the end, beauty Opal Suchata Chuangsri excellently became the new Miss World 2025. The titles of 1st, 2nd, 3rd runner-up were respectively awarded to the beauties: Hasset Dereje Admassu, Maja Klajda, Aurelie Joachim.
From the very first days of the contest, the Thai beauty was a strong candidate, highly appreciated for her beauty, body, knowledge, behavior, and performance skills. The 21-year-old beauty, 1m80 tall, possesses a charming mixed-race beauty, and is fluent in 4 languages. She is currently a student majoring in International Relations at Thammasat University and runs a family hotel in Phuket.
Opal Suchata Chuangsri won the title of 2nd runner-up at Miss Universe Thailand 2022. In 2024, she re-entered the competition and was crowned Miss Universe Thailand, becoming the country's representative at Miss Universe 2024 and winning the 3rd runner-up position. After that, she was stripped of the title for not completing her 1-year term before accepting to participate in another international beauty pageant.
Coming to Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri brought with her the Opal For Her project, raising awareness about breast cancer, helping patients access the best treatment methods and live positively. She has pursued this project for many years after overcoming breast cancer with determination and removing a tumor in her breast. Therefore, she has attracted the attention of both the audience and international media since the beginning of this year's competition season. Before being crowned, she entered the top 8 of the "Head to Head Challenge", leading the "Multimedia Challenge" competition.
In the Miss World 2025 Final Question and Answer round, Opal Suchata Chuangsri received the question: "What has this journey taught you about truth, responsibility and stories being told?".
The beauty said: "This is a special opportunity that I have in my life. Here, I learned that everyone has a responsibility when sharing a story. I and other girls become a version of the people we admire. No matter where you are, what you do, what time, there are people you admire. They are the ones who lead you to a bigger role and responsibility. And I am following that path. Therefore, living responsibly and kindly is the most powerful way to tell a story."
Although only stopping at the top 40, the representative of Vietnam - Huynh Tran Y Nhi left a special mark in the hearts of international and domestic audiences. Y Nhi was born in 2002, is Miss World Vietnam 2023. She is a student majoring in Business Administration at Ho Chi Minh City International University, and is currently studying abroad in Australia. She is able to communicate fluently in English and Chinese.
The careful preparation of nearly 2 years before the Miss World 2025 contest helped Ý Nhi to be full of energy in most of the competitions with a confident demeanor, youthful energy and a spirit of solidarity and friendliness. In addition to being in the top 40, Ý Nhi also made it to the top 8 of “Beauty With a Purpose” and the top 48 of the talent competition.
In the final night, Ý Nhi impressed with her gentle beauty in the evening gown competition and her graceful, confident performance. She wore a design called Garden of Eden by designer Hoàng Tony.
