On October 13, 2025, in Hong Kong (China), in the solemn atmosphere of the World Tourism Awards 2025 (WTA), the name Phong Nha-Ke Bang was proudly mentioned twice. Surpassing many strong candidates from the continent, the Vietnamese representative excellently won the two most prestigious categories in nature tourism, namely: Vietnam's Leading Nature Destination 2025 and Asia's Leading National Park 2025.

This is the highest level of recognition for the unique values and tireless efforts of Quang Tri province in preserving and sustainably developing the natural treasures of mankind. The World Travel Awards gathers leading names in the global tourism industry.

Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has an area of 123,326 hectares, with outstanding global values in geology, geomorphology, biodiversity and ecological and biological processes, and has been twice listed in the World Heritage List by UNESCO. In addition to the above-mentioned outstanding global values, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park also contains many unique indigenous cultural values and a system of important historical and cultural relics...
