Hai Phong City has 107 grassroots Farmers' Associations with more than 549,000 members.

The City Farmers' Association has actively built an increasingly strong organization, contributing to the successful implementation of the City Party Congress resolution.

On the afternoon of October 14, the Hai Phong City Farmers' Association held a rally to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2025), welcoming the Congress of Farmers' Association delegates at all levels in Thien Huong ward.

At the program, delegates reviewed the historical tradition of the Vietnam Farmers' Union. Over 95 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam Farmers' Union has always affirmed its core role in agricultural development, new rural construction and protection of farmers' rights and legitimate interests.

In Hai Phong , after the merger, the organizational system of the City Farmers' Association was expanded, quickly perfecting the organization, unifying activities, consolidating facilities, and promoting emulation movements right from the first days of the new apparatus.

Currently, the city has 107 grassroots Farmers' Associations with more than 549,000 members, operating in 2,584 branches. Emulation movements such as "Good farmers in production and business", "Farmers competing to build new rural areas", "Green, organic, smart agriculture" continue to spread strongly, contributing to shifting the economic structure, improving the material and spiritual life of farmers.

Towards the new stage, the City Farmers' Association determined to focus on innovating the content and methods of operation; promoting digital transformation in agriculture; promoting the role of linking "6 houses"; strengthening training and fostering young farmers, building an increasingly strong association, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

On this occasion, the Farmers' Association of Thien Huong Ward presented gifts to 9 farmers in difficult circumstances in the area.
