Woman blackmailed by "young lover" with sensitive clip

(Dan Tri) - After being asked to break up by his older female lover, Tran Nhan Phat (residing in Phu Yen province) used a sensitive clip of the two to threaten her, demanding that the victim give him 1 billion VND.

On December 16, the Investigation Police Agency of Phu Yen Province Police announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Tran Nhan Phat (33 years old, residing in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen) to investigate the crime of Extortion.

According to initial investigation, 6 months ago, through social networks, Phat became acquainted with Ms. N., an elderly woman in the South Central region.

During their passionate dates, Phat enticed them to record "affectionate" clips between the two as souvenirs and then saved them on his personal phone.

In August, seeing that Phat had borrowed hundreds of millions of dong from her but had no intention of paying it back, Ms. N. expressed her desire to end this "ambiguous" relationship.

Hearing that, Phat immediately turned around and texted and called to threaten, forcing the victim to give him the full 1 billion VND, otherwise he would block the road, burn the car, burn the house, and send the "affectionate" clip to the victim's husband and relatives. In addition, Phat also threatened to post all the hot pictures of the two of them on social media.

Panicked, Ms. N. tried to borrow from many places but only got 485 million VND and announced that she did not have enough money as Phat requested. After that, the "young lover" agreed to receive the money Ms. N. borrowed, the remaining 515 million VND must be given when she has enough money.

At noon on November 30, Ms. N. met Phat at a coffee shop in Tuy Hoa city to hand over money. While Phat was receiving money from Ms. N., he was caught red-handed by criminal investigators of Phu Yen Provincial Police.
