Some areas are still deeply flooded over large areas in communes and wards, such as: Phan Dinh Phung, Gia Sang, Tich Luong, Linh Son, Quan Trieu, Phu Luong, Quang Son, Dong Hy, An Khanh, Yen Trach, La Hien, Nghinh Tuong, Nam Hoa, Trung Hoi, Van Han, Phu Dinh, Trung Hoi, Dong Hy, Dai Phuc, Than Sa, Binh Thanh, Trai Cau, Dai Tu, Phu Lac, Lam Vy, Dan Tien, Van Xuan, Pho Yen, Diem Thuy, Phu Binh, Kha Son...

On the evening of October 8, the water level of the Cau River at the Cha dike in Trung Thanh ward, Thai Nguyen province rose, only about 30-60cm from the dike surface, threatening to overflow at any time. Faced with the critical situation, hundreds of people, the Army, the Police and functional units urgently built and reinforced key points to prevent the risk of dike failure.

On the morning of October 9, Colonel Duong Dinh Thanh, Deputy Director of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police, directly inspected and directed the response to flood warnings and the risk of dike breaches in the Cha dike area.

Currently, the Cha dike has been reinforced with a total length of about 500m, ensuring temporary safety. However, due to the slow receding of the river water level, 422 households in 4 residential groups including Ben Ca, Dong Lam, Dinh Phu Coc and Loi Ben of Trung Thanh ward are completely isolated. Local authorities and the police and military forces are making efforts to respond, helping people move people, property and livestock to safe locations.

The work of supporting essential necessities is being urgently carried out. Rice, life jackets, instant noodles, drinking water, etc. have been delivered to people in flooded areas in time, helping each other overcome difficult and unfortunate days.
