Author Nguyen Hieu Tin has generalized the calligraphy schools from East to West such as China, Japan, Korea, Han Nom Viet...; to Arabic, Tibetan and Western calligraphy. According to the author, all creative searches of art forms, whether East or West, whether inward or outward, all lead to the horizon of aesthetics. From this foundation, the author has given quite convincing explanations about the birth of Vietnamese calligraphy today, although still "young" but promising many interesting things in the future.
