Former Principal of Nam Sach Town Primary School was disciplined

In addition to the disciplined Principal, two Vice Principals were also disciplined with a reprimand. The Principal of Nam Sach Town Primary School was transferred to become Vice Principal of Nam Chinh Primary and Secondary School.

The above officials were disciplined due to limitations in managing meals for boarding students.

Previously, on November 3, 2023, on social networks, there were images reflecting that the boarding meals at Nam Sach Town Primary School were not guaranteed, and students were not given food on separate trays.

Photos posted on social media about their children's meals at Nam Sach Town Primary School include rice, a savory dish of pork patties, a bowl of tofu cooked with tomatoes, and soup.

The post stated: "Parents work all day in the company just to have money to pay for school and raise their children. Today, seeing their child's lunch made my heart ache. My child studies at Nam Sach Town Primary School, Nam Sach District, Hai Duong Province. The meal costs 17,000 VND."

Immediately after the article was posted on social media, many parents expressed their concerns about the quality of the students' meals. Most comments said that the meals were too small and not nutritious enough to ensure the students' health.

Regarding the above incident, Mr. Pham Quang Dai - Principal of the school confirmed that the meal posted on social media is indeed the lunch meal for boarding students in the school. "The lunch menu on November 3, 2023 includes: crab soup with jute, bean with tomato sauce, braised pork roll, sesame salt. This photo may have been taken by a parent near the end of the meal. The cost of the meal is 17,000 VND/student. Up to now, the school has always made the menu public to parents of students"...

Immediately after the incident, the leaders of Nam Sach District People's Committee established an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect the organization of meals at Nam Sach Town Primary School. The district also requested Nam Sach Town Primary School and other schools in the area not to put food for children in common bowls and cups. Schools must use trays to divide meals equally for each student.
