On May 28, Miss Grand International Rachel Gupta (India) announced her decision to give up the title of Miss Grand International (MGI) 2024.

Rachel said the months following her coronation were filled with “broken promises, unfair treatment and a toxic environment” that made it impossible for her to remain silent.

The Miss Grand International organization then announced that it was terminating Rachel Gupta's title of Miss Grand International 2024 with immediate effect.

Mr. Nawat shared: "Since Tien was crowned, she has received many advertising contracts from major brands in Vietnam and internationally. Tien helps increase sales and bring profits to Miss Grand Vietnam."

Another time, MGI's Chairman said that Thuy Tien earned 100 million Baht (about 61 billion VND) just 3 months after being crowned thanks to coverage in TV shows and advertisements.
