The “10 best opera houses in the world” voted by travel experts of the World Travel Awards (WTA) have just been announced on the organization’s 10best website. Specifically, the list includes: Ho Guom Theater in Hanoi (Vietnam), Wiener Staatsoper Theater in Vienna (Italy), Metropolitan Opera in New York (USA), Opéra de Paris in Paris (France), Teatro Alla Scala in Milan (Italy), The Bolshoi Theater in Moscow (Russia), Royal Opera House in London (UK), Teatro di San Carlo in Naples (Italy), Sydney Opera House in Sydney (Australia), Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Hoan Kiem Theater - located at the intersection of 4 major streets in the center of Hanoi, just 3 minutes walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, invested in construction by the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City, completed "at lightning speed" in just 22 months. Inaugurated on July 9, 2023, Hoan Kiem Theater has ancient European architectural highlights, exuding luxury and splendor from 52 monolithic stone columns imported directly from Spain, along with glass blocks and domes surrounding the building.
