The collection "Preserving the color of the sea and islands - the river region" was launched on the occasion of July 27 - War Invalids and Martyrs Day, which is held annually to commemorate the war invalids and martyrs who sacrificed and lost their lives in wars. Images of boats, shrimp, fish, waves, winds, etc. have been deeply ingrained in the childhood subconscious of many generations of people here. Born and raised in a coastal fishing village, a son of Da Loc, designer Nhat Thuc has nurtured his passion and pursued art since he was very young.

Nhat Thuc is a talented young man with a great passion for traditional costumes. He always wants to bring new and unique Ao Dai, impressive costumes but still retain the characteristics of Vietnamese people. Young designer Nhat Thuc has skillfully incorporated traditional elements, ancient cultural motifs, and folk images into each work, expressing his own unique fashion style.

When mentioning designer Nhat Thuc, we immediately think of special collections: Ancient opera, water puppetry, flowers on the mountain, ceramics, calligraphy, lotus silk,... And as society develops, traditional cultural values are increasingly eroded and gradually forgotten, and with the desire to recall and preserve those traditional beauties, in addition to collections for adults, designer Nhat Thuc has also launched many collections for children so that children can understand more about the traditional values of the nation.

Today, at a special stage with a runway stretching along the coast and mangrove forests, we will be able to watch and admire a fashion show with the theme of islands and oceans called "Preserving the color of islands and seas - River Region".

The fashion show is expected to take place on July 14, 2024 at Pine Forest, Da Loc Commune, Hau Loc District, Thanh Hoa Province.

“The River Region” is a collection of innovations from the Ao Ba Ba, Ao Yem, and Ao Tu Than, imbued with the rustic, simple, and familiar qualities of coastal fishermen. A highlight of the collection is the black and white checkered pattern of the scarf - an image familiar to everyone, as a symbol of the hardworking, lovely people of the South.

"Preserving the color of the sea and islands" are ao dai designs inspired by the image of navy soldiers who are on duty day and night to guard every inch of the island, every sacred wave to maintain the sovereignty of the sea and islands. Navy soldiers are always the pride of the nation, they always contribute their efforts to preserve the peace of the sea and islands of the Fatherland...
