Vietnam Education Publishing House launches two books about Uncle Ho

Vietnam Education Publishing House said it has paid special attention, invested finance and effort in all stages of publishing to ensure the best quality for both books.

On July 30, the Vietnam Education Publishing House officially launched two special reference books about President Ho Chi Minh: "Uncle Ho is Ho Chi Minh" and "Uncle Ho in Thailand." These are works of profound humanistic value, carefully invested, contributing to enriching documents about the life and great career of President Ho Chi Minh.

The book "Uncle Ho Chi Minh" compiled and selected by author Luong Van Phu is the result of deep love and passion for researching President Ho Chi Minh. The work depicts the portrait of a great leader, a simple man but with a far-sighted vision, through analyzing Uncle Ho's journey to find a way to save the country in the historical context of the nation and the world .

With authentic and reliable documents and images, the book guides readers from the time when teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh left to find a way to save the country, through the arduous stages of revolutionary activities, to when he successfully led the August Revolution in 1945. Through that, readers will better understand the ideology, ethics, leadership style, along with valuable lessons about patriotism, strong will, independent thinking, and creativity of President Ho Chi Minh .

The book "Uncle Ho in Thailand" by author Ha Lam Danh gathers valuable historical documents and authentic stories about the time President Ho Chi Minh was active in the revolution in Thailand from 1928 to 1929. The work not only vividly recreates Uncle Ho's life and revolutionary activities in the Land of the Golden Temple, but also highlights his simplicity, wisdom and immense love for our overseas Vietnamese community.

Compiled in Vietnamese - Thai bilingual format, the book not only helps generations of Vietnamese people in Thailand better understand leader Ho Chi Minh and the revolutionary history of the Vietnamese people, but is also a vivid testament to the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and Thailand. The work contributes to deepening mutual understanding, strengthening the humanistic foundation for the good relationship between the two countries, and affirming the important role of the overseas Vietnamese community in general in connecting the friendship between Vietnam and countries around the world.

The representative of the Vietnam Education Publishing House said that they have paid special attention to investing finance and effort in all stages of publishing to ensure the best quality for both books. From organizing the manuscript, editing, commenting, and evaluating according to the special reference book process, to inviting prestigious, experienced and specialized experts to comment on the content of the manuscript, while focusing on the design, editing, and printing stages to bring the best quality and most impressive publications, worthy of the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Education Publishing House, the publication of the two books is an event to welcome the Party Congress of the Ministry of Education and Training which will take place next August.

According to Mr. Tung, the launch of the two books is an effort of the Vietnam Education Publishing House in publishing special reference books, one of the book areas that this unit focuses on investing in to have books that are elaborate in both content and form, in addition to the key areas of textbooks and supplementary books.

“This event also demonstrates the continuation of the mission of serving the education sector and the contribution of the Vietnam Education Publishing House to the cause of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality by providing knowledge and historical documents, helping readers to cultivate ideology, morality, personality, and increase educational effectiveness,” said Mr. Tung.

With quality content and beautiful form, Mr. Tung said that Vietnam Education Publishing House hopes that these books will contribute to developing reading culture, especially reading traditional books, which will be maintained and developed, especially in the context of paper books being strongly competed by digital technology.

A representative of the Vietnam Education Publishing House affirmed that the launch of these two books is not only to recreate the life and career of Uncle Ho, but also a way to pay tribute and remember him. The two books will become companions of readers on the journey to discover the historical, cultural and ideological values of Ho Chi Minh and a bridge connecting generations in preserving and promoting the values of the nation's cultural and revolutionary heritage./.
