"421" is a special album that not only recounts Karik's artistic journey but also the process of growing up in love and life of the male rapper. Paving the way for this double album, Karik released 4 songs and received a warm welcome: "Co choi co chiu" (60 million views), "Ban doi" (nearly 100 million views) and most recently "Nhat ky vao doi" in collaboration with Thai VG (reached #4 on the trending music list on YouTube).

The MV "Friendship" shows Den's own style, not fussy about the setting or props but full of meaning through the unique image - a man pulling a boat through the vast sand dunes. The inspiration for composing "Friendship" comes from Den's own musical journey, when the male artist feels he receives help from many friends around him.

After 4 years, Noo Phuoc Thinh returned to the music scene with the MV "Kidding you hurts" and the showcase "Noo's Special Night" on July 16. Since the single "Loving someone why is it so sad" released at the end of 2020, Noo Phuoc Thinh has not released any official music products for 4 years. He said that he had a long period of "hibernation" because he had not found new inspiration in music. However, in 2024, in response to the affection that the audience patiently gave Noo Phuoc Thinh, he decided to return.

Phuong My Chi continues to maintain her form when introducing songs inspired by literary works. This time, "Goi Gam" was still composed by the female singer, based on the works "Tu Tinh 2", "Lay Chong Chung", "Canh Khue" by poet Ho Xuan Huong. The song belongs to the album "Vu Tru Co Bay" - a music project that received encouragement and high appreciation from experts and audiences.

There is a paradox that the Vietnamese music market is always vibrant, but the life of a Vietnamese musical work is often very short. Even if it is a good, famous song that sets a record for the time occupying the top position on the YouTube Vietnam Trending Music chart, that song can be completely forgotten after just one or a few weeks.

The song "Gội gấm" impresses with the folk song in the opening part of the work. Then, folk and contemporary music blend together. Along with the music that evokes both nostalgia and modernity are many traditional metaphorical or direct images incorporated in the MV. The cup dance performed skillfully by Phương Mỹ Chi or the royal costumes and pillows are also included in the MV. With a large investment and its unique idea, Phương Mỹ Chi's "Gội gấm" deserves the praise of experts and audiences. However, the song was quickly forgotten when many other songs were released one after another.

"Sometimes singers also fall into confusion, not knowing whether to continue investing or not because the products they make sometimes cannot create the expected effects" - singer Noo Phuoc Thinh confided.

However, according to insiders, it is inevitable for singers to continuously invest in high-quality products, because "silence is the "bottom of the grave" for themselves. Sharing the same opinion, producer Hoaprox said: "If they want to be recognized, singers must try their best to produce new products and also accept the rule of "quickly being forgotten" in current Vietnamese showbiz."

Singer Phuong Thanh admitted: "In my time, just one hit song could make me a star. The current Vietnamese music scene is very different, so singers now have a lot more pressure than before."
