'The moment I passed by Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, I burst into tears of gratitude'

The celebration, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will take place on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square.

The A80 Cultural - Sports parade block gathered many famous artists from veteran artists such as: People's Artist Lan Huong, Meritorious Artist Do Ky, People's Artist Le Khanh, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Bich... to young people such as Hoang Thuy Linh, Den Vau, Tang Duy Tan, MONO, Trang Phap, Lam Vy Da, Hong Diem, Khanh Vy...

Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, singer Hoang Thuy Linh was very proud and happy to participate in the parade for the first time.

These days, she clearly feels the heroic atmosphere, the whole nation becomes a great united bloc filled with patriotism and gratitude along with national pride in every breath and step.

"I am honored and grateful to be in the parade with the People's Artists, Meritorious Artists, artists and athletes of the Cultural - Sports Bloc who have dedicated their whole lives to Vietnam. I feel so small, I want to improve myself, try and make more efforts to continue to contribute on this artistic journey," the singer confided.

Participating in the parade for the first time, Hoang Thuy Linh was nervous, worried about many things as well as encountered some problems related to the weather and the outside environment.

But when surrounded by the encouragement of the people, the guidance of the commander and the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters in the block, the solidarity of all the participants and the people, she no longer felt tired at all.

9X said: "Suddenly I forgot all about the rain and sunshine, difficulties, just knew to keep going with the spirit of 'overcoming the sun and conquering the rain', my whole heart and breath were filled with joy and happiness when I was able to join in the atmosphere towards this wonderful festival".

When the team passed by Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hoang Thuy Linh was extremely moved, deeply feeling the sacredness. She also recalled her own journey when she was lucky to receive much love from the audience.

"The moment I passed by Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, I burst into tears of happiness and gratitude to be standing here at this moment. The solidarity made me feel the spirit of national pride flowing through every vein, so intense and genuine," she shared.

Regarding her personal schedule, Hoang Thuy Linh said that the opportunity to participate in the parade and contribute to the country's happy day is a great honor and blessing, so she put aside all work and put it as her top priority. Currently, she hopes for nothing more than for the events to go smoothly because she knows that the whole people and the whole army have worked hard.

Like singer Hoang Thuy Linh, rapper Den Vau also arranged his work to prioritize the opportunity to join the parade. Den Vau proactively texted Director of the Department of Performing Arts Xuan Bac to express his desire to join the parade and was approved. The rapper was very appreciative and honored to have this opportunity.

During the training days in Hanoi, Den Vau did not encounter any difficulties or feel tired. Because he knew that many soldiers and artists participating in the A80 event had a much harder time.

Sharing his memories, Den Vau excitedly said that he was able to march with his People's Artists and Meritorious Artists, including people he admired and had watched them perform on TV since he was a child. Outside of practice, he was happy to meet, chat and take souvenir photos with them.
