Expanding the organization of theoretical training classes and updating knowledge for cadres and party members of target 5 on the internet

This afternoon, July 15, the Party Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc held a conference to review the pilot organization of theoretical training courses and knowledge updates for cadres and party members of the 5th target group on the internet. As the first unit in the province to pilot theoretical training and update knowledge for cadres and party members of category 5 on the internet in accordance with the direction of the Central Propaganda Department, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc has selected 5 grassroots party organizations to participate in the pilot class with a total of 250 cadres and party members.

During the course, students use computers or smartphones to study and take tests to assess their quality. The content of the study topics and the set of questions to assess the quality of students are compiled by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

After the course ended, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises conducted a survey of leaders of selected grassroots party organizations and trainees to grasp the opinions of units and individuals on the policy and effectiveness of organizing training and updating political theory knowledge for cadres and party members of target 5 on the internet.

Through the records, most of the leaders of grassroots party organizations and cadres and party members highly appreciated this model. During the learning process, cadres and party members identified the right learning goals, promoted the highest sense of responsibility, initiative, self-awareness, actively studied documents and achieved high results. According to statistics, there were 232 students classified as excellent, accounting for 95.5%.

At the conference, most opinions said that organizing theoretical training classes and updating knowledge on the internet is a suitable policy, changing from the traditional form of learning to the form of self-study and research based on the application of information technology. With this model, the number of students summoned is greater than the direct training form. Students save time, travel expenses, and ensure professional work...

This is also a good solution to help limit the situation of cadres and party members being afraid of studying political theory. To improve the effectiveness of the model, some opinions suggest that there should be a test after each topic; improve the classification in taking the test; overcome difficulties in telecommunications infrastructure...

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam emphasized the significance and importance of piloting theoretical training classes and updating knowledge for cadres and party members of group 5 on the internet.

At the same time, it is affirmed that this is a suitable model, helping to improve the effectiveness of theoretical training and updating knowledge for cadres and party members. It is recommended that units and localities need to research, develop plans, and expand the organization of classes in the coming time.
