From November 8-10, in Lai Chau City, Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024 will take place with the theme "Returning to the majestic Lai Chau peaks".

The event aims to promote communication, promote the potential strengths and typical tourism products of Lai Chau to domestic and international tourists. At the same time, expand links and cooperation in tourism development with provinces and cities in the country and internationally. Thereby, creating opportunities for travel businesses to learn, expand the market, and build tours to bring visitors to Lai Chau.

The opening ceremony of Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024 took place on the evening of November 8 with a special art performance program. In addition, Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024 will have an art exchange between Vietnam and China on the evening of November 9 with the participation of the Hong Ha Chau Art Troupe, Yunnan Province (China) and Lai Chau Provincial Culture and Arts Center; The 2024 Lai Chau Marathon will take place on November 10.

During the 3 days of the event, Lai Chau will organize many exciting response activities to attract tourists, including the Tourism Promotion and Introduction Space with 21 booths displaying tourism promotion publications, showing clips promoting tourist destinations; introducing OCOP products, typical agricultural products of 8 extended Northwestern provinces, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi , Da Nang and Hong Ha district (Yunnan province). Along with that is a space to recreate the culture of ethnic groups in Lai Chau province such as Mong, Ha Nhi, Mang, Lu, Lao, Thai, Dao, Giay, Cong. In particular, Lai Chau culinary culture space will introduce culinary culture, unique and attractive dishes bearing the traditional cultural imprint of Lai Chau province...

In addition, Lai Chau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize a survey program, practical experience at some tourist destinations in Lai Chau and a seminar "Consulting on building Lai Chau City tour tourism program" to introduce and sell to domestic and foreign tourists in the coming time.
