Many attractive activities at Lai Chau Cultural Tourism Week 2024

Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024 with the theme "Returning to the majestic Lai Chau peaks" will take place from November 8 - 10, 2024 in Lai Chau city, with many attractive cultural, tourism and experience activities.

With 20 ethnic groups living together, Lai Chau is a locality with a colorful culture.

The highlight is the space to introduce and promote tourism in the 8 expanded Northwestern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City; outdoor cultural and artistic exchange and performance activities such as: xoè dance, bamboo dance, khen dance, traditional handicraft performances... Including the weaving performance of the Lu ethnic group; the technique of creating patterns on fabric with beeswax, pounding sticky rice cakes, khen dance, making khen of the Mong ethnic group; costume shaping, xoè dance of the Ha Nhi ethnic group; gong xoè, bamboo dance, xoè dance, then singing - tinh lute of the Thai ethnic group... In addition, the art exchange night between the two countries Vietnam - China; the 2024 Lai Chau province marathon... are also held on this occasion.

The majestic scenery in Lai Chau will be a highlight attracting domestic and international tourists.

In addition to the province's developed community tourism destinations such as Sin Suoi Ho, Si Thau Chai, Lao Chai, we continue to develop new tourism products, such as trekking tourism to Lai Chau's high mountain peaks and adventure sports tourism. At the same time, the locality will also develop tourism products associated with agriculture , such as lake ecotourism associated with promoting agricultural products and OCOP products, the province's strengths".

Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2024 is organized to promote the fine traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups associated with tourism development.
