On May 27, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) held a launching ceremony for the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province.

Here, Mr. Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, said that the launching ceremony was held in a place considered one of the historical lands rich in revolutionary traditions.

On the same day, 15,000 union members, youth, students and volunteers across the country carried out meaningful projects and tasks demonstrating the pioneering spirit and action of youth.
In 2023, the summer youth volunteer campaign will be launched with the program "Supporting exam season" and the following trips: green summer; pink vacation; green march; red phoenix flower.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan affirmed that over 23 years, the summer youth volunteer campaign has left behind beautiful images and meaningful work of the youth force.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan noted a number of issues in implementing the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
"I suggest that you do a better job of thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the directions and tasks set out by the mid-term review conference of the Party Central Committee;educating union members and youth about revolutionary ideals and lifestyle ethics to arouse the spirit of dedication for the benefit of the collective and society. At the same time, research and innovate the content and methods of organizing the campaign to suit each age group and locality" - Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan noted.
