Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union said that inheriting and promoting the success of the previous 5 forums, this year's forum has many innovations in terms of content, form and approach. The participants have a diverse structure, a harmonious combination of experienced scientists and dynamic young intellectuals, who are pursuing research at the world's leading scientific institutions.

In addition to inheriting the serious academic spirit and continuous connection of previous terms, this year's program focuses more on connecting young intellectuals with national development practices, through practical experiential activities, in-depth dialogues with leading corporations, technology models and innovation ecosystems in Vietnam.

The discussion topics are also designed to focus more on emerging global issues that require contributions from young intellectuals – those who are at the forefront of innovation, research, and future creation. In particular, the dialogue sessions are not only theoretical but also focus on practical policy recommendations that can be transformed into concrete actions after the Forum.

“We expect that these innovations will help the Forum not only be a place for exchanging ideas, but also a bridge between intellectuals - policies - markets, contributing to bringing initiatives, knowledge and intellectual content of young Vietnamese intellectuals directly into the country's development flow in the new period,” Mr. Lam emphasized.

According to Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Kim Quy, with the theme "Young Vietnamese intellectuals globally contribute to the country entering a new era", the forum aims to connect and promote the role of young intellectuals at home and abroad; propose initiatives and breakthrough solutions for national development; promote the implementation of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

According to the Organizing Committee, the forum also discussed and proposed practical and effective mechanisms to attract and promote talent to encourage young Vietnamese intellectuals to be proactive and make efforts to contribute to the country's innovation and creativity.

Through the years of organizing the forum, the Central Youth Union has established the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals with a regular operating and exchange mechanism of more than 2,000 young intellectuals worldwide.
