Many residential areas in the North continue to have power cuts today, June 12.
In Thanh Xuan District, Khuong Thuong Ward and Truong Chinh Street will have a power outage from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In Thanh Xuan Bac Ward, although the name is not listed in the power outage schedule on EVNHANOI's website, many residential areas have also received notices of a power outage from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on June 12.
In Son Tay town, today no residential areas lost power, but part of the 105 Military Hospital lost power from 9am to 12am. Thang Long Steel Company lost power from 6:45am to 9:15am.
EVNHANOI also calls on people to save electricity by reducing lighting, turning off billboard lights, setting the air conditioner temperature to a reasonable level (26 degrees Celsius, combined with electric fans), turning off unnecessary electrical equipment... to ensure the safe operation of the power grid system, as well as reduce power outages due to overload.
In Quang Ninh , there were 118 areas with power outages on June 12. Many areas had power outages in the evening and at night, from 4pm to 11pm; from 8:30pm to 2am on June 13...
In Bac Giang , according to the people in Luc Ngan district, many areas still have power outages at night, while this is the time when priority should be given to providing electricity for people's daily activities. Specifically, from June 1 to June 20, Bac Giang province will implement a plan to provide electricity to production enterprises during the day and to provide electricity for daily activities at night.
According to Nghi Son Thermal Power Company, under Power Generation Corporation 1, Unit 1 of the plant had an incident on June 5, and is expected to be repaired and put back into operation tomorrow, June 13. When this unit resumes generating electricity, the Northern grid will have an additional 7 million kWh/day, which will help reduce the pressure of power shortages when hydroelectric reservoirs are lacking water.
