Designers such as Duc Hung and Do Manh Cuong (4th and 5th from left) have collections participating in the Fall Winter 2024 season in Hanoi.

Although he has collaborated on many reality TV shows such as Project Runway Vietnam, Vietnam's Next Top Model, this is the first time designer Do Manh Cuong has presented a collection at Vietnam International Fashion Week (after returning from New York Fashion Week - USA, Shanghai - China). As one of the typical representatives in Vietnam in rejuvenating brands - a trend that has been applied by many major fashion houses in the world in recent years, designer Do Manh Cuong will open the Vietnam - Fall Winter 2024 fashion week with the highly applicable Pure Water Drops collection with new breakthroughs. In addition, veteran designer Duc Hung will also bring a "warm winter" to the audience with the collection There is a winter like that on the first night. With the theme "New steps forward", the program is expected to be a launching pad for young brands and designers to shine in other shows, such as The Mad Lab, designer Vuong Khang, etc.

Designer Cao Minh Tien brings a new BTS of Japanese Obi fabric but expressed in designs and patterns imbued with Vietnamese culture, with the desire: "Through the collection, not only will we honor traditional beauty and Vietnamese identity, but we will also create a subtle blend between cultures, bringing Vietnamese fashion a new, unique and meaningful step forward". Famous designer Adrian Anh Tuan will take on the role of closing the entire program on the final night of November 16. The common denominator of the collections presented by Vietnamese designers this time is that they all have modern colors, in addition to the unique features of Vietnamese cultural heritage, in order to leave a unique mark and attract international fashionistas.

It can be said that after 17 successful seasons, Vietnam International Fashion Week has affirmed its position as the only professional fashion event of international stature in Vietnam. The program was created with the "mission" of developing, bringing the Vietnamese fashion industry to the international level and bringing the latest trends from the world closer to domestic audiences.

Enhance vision, anticipate new trends

In addition to 4 consecutive nights of 16 collections on the big stage, Vietnam International Fashion Week also has activities on November 11-12 such as: meeting and exchanging with designers, models, Fashionistas (people with aesthetic taste and influence in the fashion industry); honoring the efforts, creativity and achievements of those working in fashion over the past decade; and especially organizing a meaningful and practical specialized seminar for fashion brands in Vietnam with the theme "Consumer Trends 2026". The seminar was considered by many attendees to be "an important step in improving the knowledge and vision of domestic brands, helping them update, build strategies to anticipate market demand and create breakthroughs for their brands; and catch up with the latest trends from the international market".
