Promoting the pioneering and exemplary spirit, in recent years, many young party members in Thanh Hoa have taken the lead in the economic development movement, contributing to spreading the spirit of dynamism and creativity in socio-economic development in the locality.

Young party members get rich on poor land The farm model of young party member Le Thi Tam, in Van Hoa village, Cat Van commune (Nhu Xuan) brings in high income every year.

Visiting the farm of party member Lu Xuan Hien's family in Kha village, Ky Tan commune (Ba Thuoc), we were overwhelmed by the scale, area, and professionalism from the planning stage to the production organization. Born and raised in a poor farming family, Mr. Hien always had the ambition and cherished the dream of getting rich right on his homeland. Young party member Lu Xuan Hien has gradually affirmed his efforts in getting rich from the model of a comprehensive farm growing bamboo and acacia combined with raising cows, pigs, chickens, fish, and growing fruit trees. With a hard-working, diligent, and eager-to-learn nature, from a small initial capital, Mr. Hien's model has now developed with 6 hectares of bamboo and acacia, 7 breeding cows, 3 fish ponds, and many areas of fruit trees, earning about 250 million VND/year. From Mr. Hien's success, it once again affirms that the innovation of thinking, daring to think, daring to do, and knowing how to overcome difficulties of young party members in the highlands will certainly rise up to become rich right on their homeland.

Graduated from the Vietnam Youth Academy, returning to his hometown, Hoang Van Tuan (born in 1986) in Xuan Du commune (Nhu Thanh) participated in the Youth Union since 2006 and was elected as the commune's Youth Union Secretary from 2012 to present. Not only completing his tasks well, Mr. Tuan also always thinks and worries about finding a way to escape poverty right on his homeland. Realizing that rice cultivation has low economic efficiency, in 2015, he and his wife determined to contract 2 hectares of land to grow peach blossoms. After researching, he said that peach blossoms are resistant to harsh conditions, so they are very suitable for this land. Not letting down the caretakers, peach blossoms have brought significant income to his family. In recent years, he has always brought to the market 200 - 300 peach blossoms each year and they are always loved by customers. Not stopping there, in 2021, Mr. Tuan re-contracted 5% of the commune's land fund to invest in building a farm with a new direction, with systematic investment and high technology application to produce vegetables, tubers and fruits in a safe direction with the motto of seasonal vegetables, creating stable jobs for 7 to 10 workers with an income of 4.5 to 5 million VND/month. In particular, he has successfully grown high-quality grape varieties imported from Korea and Japan for high and stable income, creating more jobs for many local workers. It is known that from his production model, every year after deducting expenses, he earns a profit of over 300 million VND.

Born and raised in a farming family, Ms. Le Thi Tam in Van Hoa village, Cat Van commune (Nhu Xuan) graduated from pedagogy in 2011. With a contract teaching job, the income was not enough to cover expenses, so to improve family life, she and her husband took advantage of the available land to grow some trees. Then, realizing the potential of the combined fruit tree growing model, she discussed with her husband to grow grapefruit, Thai jackfruit, lychee and macadamia trees. In addition, she also raises bees for honey and raises various types of poultry. In 2018, after being appointed as a preschool teacher, Ms. Tam always completed her duties at school. Outside of school hours, she spends time developing a comprehensive economic model. Currently, her family has more than 1 hectare of fruit trees of all kinds, 2 hectares of acacia, 30 bee colonies for honey, each year collecting about 300 bottles of honey, hundreds of chickens and ducks bringing in an income of hundreds of millions of VND. By sharing her family's economic experience in the Youth Union, Ms. Tam has inspired many Youth Union members and young people in the village and commune to apply and become rich.

Not only are they good at economics, these young party members are also always active in sharing, exchanging experiences, and supporting some households in difficult circumstances to develop production, increase income, and stabilize their lives. The party members themselves and their families are always exemplary in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations. At the same time, they actively participate in union activities and youth and children's movements, emulation movements, and campaigns launched by the locality.

For many years, young party members Lu Xuan Hien, Hoang Van Tuan, and Le Thi Tam have been recognized and rewarded by party committees and socio- political organizations at all levels for their practical work.
