Vietnam's first online Apple Store will bring many new experiences to users who love the "bitten apple" brand. On the online store, users can refer to and choose to buy all the products and services that Apple is providing, more than what a traditional store can offer.

Similar to Apple Authorized Resellers (AARs) in Vietnam, Apple Store online also offers flexible installment payments for users, but with a few small differences. First, the installment payment period is extended from 6 to 24 months, while AARs usually only support up to 12 months, through financial service providers or bank credit cards.

Although flexible in terms of time, Apple requires buyers to pay 20% of the order value in advance and offers an installment interest rate of 1.67%. In addition, users only pay in installments through a separate service package combined with MoMo e-wallet, there is no other provider option. Direct payment (paying the entire order value) has an additional payment method via credit card or domestic bank account.

This is also a policy that has been present in Vietnam for the past few years, applied by AARs to help users reduce costs when they want to upgrade their devices, contributing to stimulating consumption. The difference at Apple Store is that pricing will be regulated and applied globally by Apple, not provided by a third party.

Users in need will have to answer a few questions about the condition of the old device they want to collect, then the system will determine, evaluate and return the results of the proposed re-import price to deduct from the purchase price of the new device. The reception of the device will take place at the buyer's address and may take more waiting time than going directly to the AAR system store to collect the old for a new one on the spot.

Apple's popular program is available in all countries where it has stores (online or offline) and is available in Vietnam for the first time. Student customers are often supported by domestic sellers with prices according to each individual program, while for Apple, this is a unified policy, applied nationwide and continuously to the products and services the company sells.

A similar policy also applies to units, educators and businesses with the need to purchase equipment for professional work.

Personalize product selection

Personalization of configuration (for hardware devices) and matching (Apple Watch straps and faces) is an exclusive utility only available on the online Apple Store. Accordingly, customers will be able to choose the desired configuration for their MacBook, customize RAM, internal memory... according to their needs and receive the goods in a few days. With Apple Watch, customers can try on different types of watch straps on the online interface before deciding to click to buy.

Name engraving

Currently, there is no AAR that supports customers to engrave their names on purchased products to create their own mark. This service will appear in Vietnam with the Apple Store. Most products will be engraved for free and users do not have to worry about the quality or the impact on the product, unlike hiring engraving services from third parties.

Users can personalize the product to their liking for free.

However, this may not be a very attractive utility for Vietnamese people when many have the habit of reselling products and engraving any content on the case can make the device lose value or make it difficult to find a suitable buyer.

It gathers information about all users' devices, along with interactions they have had with Apple in the past 90 days. Device owners can also find answers to many common problems related to the device they are using.
