Ninh Son changes and develops

With the goal of rapid and sustainable development in the direction of multi-sector green growth, taking industry, trade - services and high-tech agricultural production (CNC) as the priority development orientation, as well as actively mobilizing capital sources to invest in developing the system of socio -economic infrastructure works in a synchronous and modern direction, after half of the term, Ninh Son's economy is on the path of stable growth, the quality of people's lives is increasingly improved, a new breeze of prosperity and peace has truly appeared in the "mountain town".

Effectively exploit potential and strengths

Coming to Ninh Son district in the days near the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, traveling on National Highway 27 from Phan Rang - Thap Cham City to the district center, among the large fields of CNC agricultural production are solar power plants "flying straight". Comrade Kieu Tan Thinh, Chairman of Ninh Son District People's Committee said: Since the beginning of the term, there have been 17 organizations and individuals organizing CNC agricultural production, an increase of 2.3 times compared to 2020; for an average production value of over 500 million VND per hectare of cultivation; creating jobs for hundreds of rural workers with an income of over 5 million VND/person/month.

Along with that, for the development of industry and construction, Ninh Son strengthens planning, planning management, and site clearance to serve the province's key investment projects as a central and continuous task of the entire political system, maintaining and developing socio-economic development with a focus and development strategy in line with the general development orientation of the province. In 2023 alone, the production value of the district's industries reached nearly 3,700 billion VND, an average increase of 20.4% per year. Of which, the electricity production industry accounts for 33.7%, the estimated electricity output reaches nearly 1 billion kWh/year, an average increase of nearly 20% per year. Regarding trade and services, the district has focused on planning and organizing the development of community tourism, tours to visit fruit gardens in communes and towns in the area associated with the development of agricultural eco-tourism, up to now the total area of fruit trees in the district has reached 2,674 hectares. Successfully organized the first Ninh Son District Fruit Festival; organized a scientific seminar on agriculture gathering scientists to give advice on agricultural development for Ninh Son, thereby attracting tens of thousands of visitors, contributing to raising the total production value of the industry to over 900 billion VND, an average increase of 10.1%/year.

Proactive, effective use of investment capital

Identifying, capturing and making good use of the local potentials and advantages has created momentum for Ninh Son's economy to grow strongly. The average total production value reached 14.5%/year (exceeding the set target); budget revenue reached 88 billion VND, reaching 100%; the poverty rate reached 4.19 (the resolution is below 6%); average income per capita reached 49 million VND/year... However, to make a successful breakthrough, Ninh Son determined that it must focus on leadership, direct resolutely and closely, synchronously implement solutions to overcome difficulties, continue to strongly improve the investment and business environment, urgently complete projects, effectively promote investment capital to promote socio-economic development in the area in the final years of the term. Accordingly, in the period of 2021-2023, the total social investment in the district is 773.9 billion VND, with many large projects such as: Song Than Reservoir; Ong River embankment; upgrading National Highway 27; Quang Son Industrial Cluster; Tan Son - Ta Nang road; North - South Expressway project... In which, the total public investment capital is 232.4 billion VND, building 61 new works in the fields of: Transportation, education, culture, society, domestic electricity and irrigation.

In particular, to maximize the potential and advantages of projects, typically the Tan Son - Ta Nang route, the District People's Committee has recently proactively issued a plan to develop agricultural production areas in Hoa Son and Ma Noi communes along the Tan Son - Ta Nang route, as a basis for individuals, businesses, and organizations to have the opportunity to invest in agricultural development in the direction of commodity production in the area, calling for investment cooperation inside and outside the province in the field of CNC; at the same time, orienting and recommending people to invest in sustainable development, integrating multi-values, and striving to get rich from agricultural production. For the Quang Son Industrial Cluster, in addition to calling for businesses to invest in business, the District People's Committee is focusing on implementing tasks on planning orientation, development based on planning and the potential and advantages of the locality to issue mechanisms and policies to attract investment, soon solve many jobs, improve income for many workers...
