According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, in the first 6 months of the year, the province's economy continued to grow compared to the same period. The total product in the province (GRDP) increased by 7.33%; total social development investment capital increased by 5.8%; state budget revenue reached 15,390 billion VND, equal to 55% of the central budget estimate, up 27.9% over the same period last year; export turnover increased by 15.8%; total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased by 14.7%; tourism revenue increased by 20.2%...

In addition, the fields of science and technology, digital transformation and innovation have not had strong changes; provincial competitiveness is slow to improve. From now until the end of the year, there will be many challenges when the world situation continues to develop complicatedly and unpredictably; political conflicts still occur; global economic growth tends to decline; the new US tax policy causes trade tensions, along with the risk of local conflicts in Europe, the Middle East and East Asia disrupting the supply chain.

At the meeting, leaders of communes and wards reflected on some difficulties in human resources; commune-level officials have uneven professional qualifications. In some communes, facilities and public administrative service centers are not convenient for people to come and do procedures. The problem of site clearance for public investment projects is difficult and will directly affect capital disbursement and economic growth.

From now until the end of the year, in addition to the task of ensuring the smooth operation of the apparatus; successfully organizing party congresses at all levels; reviewing and adjusting plans to ensure compliance with the province's boundaries after the merger..., the Provincial People's Committee will give top priority to promoting economic growth. The province sets a target for 2025, a growth rate compared to the previous year of about 7.5% and strives to reach more than 8%; GRDP per capita reaching 110.4 million VND/person, up 9.9%; industrial production index increasing by 7.5%; export turnover reaching 2,350 million USD; total development investment capital reaching 107,880 billion VND, up 9%; state budget revenue reaching 27,979 billion VND, up 10.4%.

To achieve the set goals, the Provincial People's Committee has identified priority for promoting economic growth, in which industry is considered the main driving force for growth. The province will promote the development of processing and manufacturing industries; promote the growth of key industries of the province such as: bird's nest, seafood, shipbuilding, electricity production, sugar, garment, special agricultural products... The province will issue a plan to determine the order of priority for investment in developing the provincial industrial park system (IP) by 2030; focus on reviewing all existing IP land funds, evaluating the efficiency of use, and having solutions to handle slow-progress IP infrastructure projects to increase the occupancy rate, creating room for strategic investors. Along with that, the province will speed up the progress of infrastructure investment in Doc Da Trang IP, Ca Na IP, Bac Ai and Phuoc Hoa Pumped Storage Hydropower Project; complete the selection of investors for the Ca Na LNG Project with a capacity of 1,500 MW; Complete investment procedures for a number of industrial parks and industrial clusters; complete the project to establish an inter-regional renewable energy service and industrial center and submit it to the Prime Minister for approval.

Along with that, the province focuses on developing the service industry in a diversified direction, with high knowledge and technology content, focusing on developing tourism, logistics services, and digital economy. The province will speed up the implementation of the Project to build Port No. 3 - Ba Ngoi Port, Ca Na general seaport to increase the capacity of receiving and exporting goods by waterway. Along with that, promoting export activities, promoting trade, strongly developing the domestic market; strengthening the connection between supply and demand, promoting the distribution of goods through digital platforms...

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam requested to immediately stabilize the operations of the local government; review and arrange officials and civil servants with the right expertise and skills; invest in upgrading equipment and the Internet transmission system to ensure smooth operation, and exploit data well to better serve the people. In particular, the province will firmly adhere to the priority goal of promoting growth, striving for a growth rate of 8% in 2025; accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital; regularly review, urge, and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles of each project, especially important national and provincial projects and works.
