BTO-On the afternoon of November 25, at the historical site of Duc Thanh School, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Binh Thuan branch, in coordination with the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument and Phan Boi Chau High School (Phan Thiet City) organized a talk show on the topic "Homeland and family traditions - factors shaping the personality and patriotism of President Ho Chi Minh".
Sharing at the talk, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong - Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument (Nghe An) said: In his arduous revolutionary life, President Ho Chi Minh only visited his homeland twice. He devoted all his mind, strength and noble life to the cause of national liberation, class liberation, human liberation, and leading the country to socialism. But for Ho Chi Minh, "homeland is a place of great love and affection" is always imprinted in his heart. And even though Uncle Ho has passed away, the memories of his visits to his homeland or the souvenirs he gave to his homeland are always engraved, cherished and respected by every citizen of his homeland. The countless loves contained in his advice are still practical today, a motivation for cadres, party members and people of Nghe An to continue to study and follow his moral example.
At the talk show “Homeland and family traditions as factors shaping the personality and patriotism of President Ho Chi Minh” with 120 students of Phan Boi Chau High School, the presenter of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument, provided more information about the 9 years of Uncle Ho’s childhood in his hometown of Nghe An, in a patriotic Confucian family. The family’s tradition and this “spiritual land of talented people” naturally contributed to creating the foundation for his ambition to leave home to find a way to save the country.
Among them, Binh Thuan is proud to be the place that welcomed the footsteps of the young patriot Nguyen Tat Thanh (later President Ho Chi Minh) who stopped to teach at Duc Thanh School from September 1910 to February 1911 before going to Saigon, crossing the ocean to find the path of truth to save the people and the country. Although the years have passed, Duc Thanh School - Phan Thiet is still sacred in the hearts of the people of the whole country. The image of teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh is always warmed by the hearts of the people here.
At the talk, delegates and students also listened to explanations about the teaching process and souvenirs associated with him at Duc Thanh School. At the same time, they viewed the photo exhibition "Simple but noble example of Binh Thuan province" with more than 70 images and documents introducing typical individuals and groups in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in the fields of economy, culture, society, security, national defense...
This activity helps children supplement their knowledge about the beloved leader of the nation. From there, they promote the tradition of studiousness, orient their personality and nurture great ambitions to become good citizens, enthusiastically building their homeland.
