On March 18, the North experienced the last day of a long period of drizzle and humidity. Light rain continued in the area in the early morning, gradually decreasing in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures also continued to rise, with some places reaching over 28 degrees Celsius, causing a feeling of heat.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from the night of March 18, a cold air mass will affect the Northeast region and some places in the Northwest.
From March 19, the entire North will turn cold, causing humidity to drop below 80%, helping to end the damp weather. The lowest temperature is commonly 15-18 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 12-15 degrees Celsius, and in high mountainous areas, some places are below 10 degrees Celsius.
However, the above temperatures can only be recorded at night and early morning. During the day, the highest temperature remains at 21-22 degrees Celsius, cold weather. In the North Central region, the weather turns cold from the night of March 19 with the lowest temperature of 16-19 degrees Celsius.

The most notable feature of this cold front is that it brings showers to the North. The rain will be concentrated from the night of March 18 to the night of March 19, with some places experiencing heavy rain. The humid weather will end, but the weather will change from drizzle to short-term showers.
The forecast map shows that the North will only experience two days of cold rain (March 19-20), after which the temperature will rise again and the wet weather will temporarily end.
The meteorological agency warns people to be on guard against tornadoes, lightning, hail, strong winds, flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes. In particular, some places in the Northwest have just experienced localized heat, so thunderstorms and lightning may appear accompanied by rain when the weather turns cold.
At sea, from the night of March 18, the wind in the Gulf of Tonkin will change direction to northeast and gradually increase to level 6-7, gusting to level 8, with waves 1.5-2.5m high. From March 19, the northeast wind in the northern East Sea will gradually increase to level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9. Waves 2-4m high, rough seas.
