The organizing committee of the Miss Vietnam Ethnic Tourism 2025 contest has just held a press conference to announce the crown named Hoa Ban Tim and the preliminary round in the Northern region.

The Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025 contest is held for the first time, honoring the beauty, intelligence and bravery of Vietnamese women from 54 ethnic groups, in a blend of tradition and modernity. This is not only a beauty contest but also a journey to spread cultural pride, national solidarity and the desire for international integration of the young generation.

According to Ms. Dam Huong Thuy - Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam aims at 3 core values: Spreading culture - where contestants express their national identity through language, costumes, arts and traditional customs; Connecting tourism and community - through practical activities at cultural - tourist destinations, connecting contestants with local life, promoting sustainable development; Humanistic values and integration - helping contestants practice skills and knowledge, becoming "tourism - cultural ambassadors" of Vietnam in the international arena.

At the press conference, the Organizing Committee announced the Purple Bauhinia Crown, the prestigious symbol for the new beauty queen. The work was inspired by Bauhinia - a typical flower of the Northwest mountains and forests and the image of the phoenix - a sacred bird of prosperity and revival.

The crown is exquisitely crafted with the top part being a stylized phoenix head combined with purple Bauhinia flowers, symbolizing the power, love and gentle beauty of Vietnamese women. The crown body simulates winding terraced fields, symbolizing diligence, creativity and a spirit of harmony with nature. On a brilliant yellow background, the purple-pink stones shine like Bauhinia flowers in the Northwest sunset - a symbol of faith, love and enduring courage.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Khoi, representative of the production unit, shared: "The Purple Ban Flower Crown is not only a reward for the new beauty queen but also a symbol of the intersection between tradition and modernity, between national cultural heritage and contemporary crafting art. We hope that this crown will help the new beauty queen spread her love for her homeland, national pride and the desire to promote the image of Vietnam to the world ."

Immediately after the crown announcement ceremony, the preliminary round of Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025 took place with the participation of judges: Historian Duong Trung Quoc, People's Artist Lan Huong (Head of the Jury), Doctor of Anthropometry Vu Thi Thu Huong, journalist Ngo Ba Luc... The 30 best contestants will enter the common house and participate in four reality TV episodes recorded in Moc Chau (Son La) - where the girls experience, explore culture, interact with ethnic people and carry out personal volunteer projects.

According to Ms. Dam Huong Thuy, the application of reality TV format helps the contest become closer, more lively and truly reflects the training and growth journey of the contestants. Each episode will be a vivid film promoting the image of local tourism and the culture of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

The final round of Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025 is scheduled to take place in mid-November 2025 in Moc Chau, Son La, promising to be a shining night of beauty, intelligence and pride in Vietnamese culture.
