On October 9, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting with representatives of businesses and outstanding entrepreneurs nationwide on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), with the participation of more than 270 outstanding delegates from corporations, associations and businesses at home and abroad.

Speaking at this conference, Chairman of CMC Nguyen Trung Chinh shared: 2025 is a special milestone when the country celebrates the 80th anniversary of its founding, and is also the year of implementing a series of breakthrough institutional reform resolutions such as 57, 59, 66, 68, 71, 72 - laying the foundation for a new period of development of Vietnam.

In that context, CMC is honored to be assigned by the Government with two important national tasks. First , building a national cloud computing infrastructure - CMC Cloud, ensuring data sovereignty and Vietnam's digital infrastructure. Second, developing the artificial intelligence platform "C-OpenAI - make in Vietnam", an open AI ecosystem serving the Government, businesses and the community.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh affirmed: "CMC considers the task assigned by the Prime Minister not only an honor, but also a commitment to action - pioneering in the development of science, technology, innovation, startups and digital transformation".

According to him, these are not just two technology projects, but two pillars for national digital sovereignty, creating a foundation for Vietnam to master core technology, develop the digital economy, and at the same time affirm Vietnam's position in the global technology value chain.

The Chairman of CMC recommended that the Government soon specify assigned tasks through contracts, mechanisms, and clear policies, helping businesses proactively use resources and plans to carry out national tasks.

CMC aims to become one of the five digital technology enterprises of the region and the world, participating in the global value chain, as the goals of Resolutions 57 and 68 have pointed out, playing the role of "locomotive" leading small and medium enterprises and Vietnamese technology startups to develop together.

In order for national tasks to be implemented substantially, the Chairman of CMC recommended that the Government soon specify assigned tasks with clear contracts, mechanisms and policies, helping businesses proactively manage resources and implementation plans.

Encourage the "three-house" cooperation model: University, Research Institute - Market Enterprise - City Government, to form Innovation Centers in enterprises, large cities (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang) and nationally.

Promote research ordering mechanisms and R&D investments from the public sector, to activate open technology ecosystems and create incentives for businesses to invest in core technology areas.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh emphasized: "We hope that the tasks assigned by the Government will soon be specified in clear contracts. That will be a step from assigning tasks to taking action, so that businesses can truly take the lead in contributing to national goals."

At the end of his speech, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh sent the message: "With the aspiration to build a strong, self-reliant and prosperous Vietnam with Vietnamese intelligence and technology, CMC commits to working with the technology business community to master technology, develop digital infrastructure, digital human resources, digital government, digital economy and digital society - contributing to the creation of a knowledge economy, sharing economy and innovative economy".
