Meritorious Artist Kim Tiểu Long received a warm welcome from the public in Hanoi on the evening of October 12th.

On the evenings of October 11th and 12th, Meritorious Artist Kim Tiểu Long left a deep impression on audiences in Northern Vietnam with two performances at Opus Convention tea room ( Hai Phong ) and Skyline (Hanoi).

Both of Kim Tieu Long's concerts were sold out.

Both nights were sold out, the auditorium filled with thunderous applause and long, continuous rounds of cheers.

A special highlight of the program was the excerpt from the Cai Luong play "Han Mac Tu" – one of the roles closely associated with Kim Tieu Long's name, performed by him alongside singer Khanh An, daughter of People's Artist Nguyen Manh Hung and granddaughter of People's Artist Nguyen Thanh Tung – two veteran artists of the Northern Cai Luong stage.

The collaboration between two generations of artists created a sublime performance, a harmonious blend of emotion and technique, moving the audience to tears.

Sharing his thoughts after the performance, Meritorious Artist Kim Tiểu Long said: "I am moved to bring the spirit of Southern Vietnamese cải lương (traditional opera) to the audience in the North. Every time I sing here, I feel the genuine love for art."

"Being on stage alongside the descendants of our predecessors – those who have contributed to building the foundation of Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) – is a great joy for me. I thank My Hanh, a fan who loves the artists, for organizing these two performances."

Besides the stage performances, the program also features singers Tuan Vu and Mai Quoc Huy – two beloved voices in the bolero genre.

The atmosphere of the concert became intimate and emotional as familiar melodies such as "Missing My Lover Again," "New Dress of Ca Mau ," "Small Love Quickly Forgotten," "Long Night on the Front Line," "Letter from My Younger Sister," "Heartache," "Drunken Song," "Soul of the Stone Statue," "Purple Sorrow on a Pink Card"... resonated with the passionate singing of the artists and the enthusiastic applause of the audience.

Singer Tuan Vu received much love from the public in Northern Vietnam.

In Hanoi, many older audience members shared emotionally: "Kim Tieu Long's voice is both simple and profound. When he sings traditional Vietnamese folk songs amidst bolero tunes, the whole space seems to quiet down; it's an emotion that only cải lương (Vietnamese traditional opera) can bring."

Kim Tieu Long extends his love to orphaned and disabled children in Hai Phong.

Before performing in Hai Phong, Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long dedicated time to a meaningful charitable activity. Through his connection with the Hai Phong Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans, he visited, interacted with, and distributed 250 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, including cakes, milk, and fruit jelly, to children at the SOS Children's Village Hai Phong, the Hoa Phuong Social Work and Children's Protection Center, the Hai Phong Special Education School, and the Hai Phong Club for Disabled Youth.

Besides giving gifts, the male artist also sang cheerful songs with the children, sharing smiles and sincere words of encouragement: "I hope that even though you are facing many difficulties, you will always maintain your faith, be well-behaved, and study hard. Life still holds many beautiful things ahead, and I believe you will be good citizens, contributing to building your homeland."
