Female doctor saves patient in time

(Dan Tri) - On June 19, Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination Center recorded two situations requiring urgent medical assistance. Both cases were handled promptly and according to procedures, helping the patients stabilize and be safe during the critical moment.

The first case occurred at around 12:15 p.m. on June 19 in the area near the Long Chau Xa La Vaccination Center. A little girl was eating with her friends when she suddenly collapsed and gradually lost consciousness. When the incident happened, people around were panicked and did not have time to handle it. As soon as she received the information, Dr. Luc Thi Cam Ngan, who was on duty at the center, immediately approached the scene.

The girl was promptly given first aid by doctors at Long Chau Xa La Vaccination Center at the scene.

Initial observations showed that the baby's pulse was weak, with signs of hypoglycemia or mild stroke. During the initial intervention, the doctor continuously encouraged the baby to try to move to avoid falling into a deep unconscious state, while closely monitoring vital signs. After a few minutes of first aid, the baby gradually responded and regained consciousness. The family arrived shortly thereafter and took the baby to a specialized medical facility for further monitoring.

At the same time, at Long Chau Pharmacy at 142 Tran Nhan Tong, an elderly male customer came to buy medicine and suddenly fainted at the counter. Doctor Le Thi Bong, who was present at the facility, immediately approached, checked the SpO₂ index and noticed that the patient had signs of difficulty breathing, the oxygen index in the blood dropped to 92%, suspected of hypoglycemia or cerebral hypoxia.

Immediately afterwards, the doctor took the patient to the post-injection reaction room, provided oxygen support, gave him sugar water, and monitored him continuously for 30 minutes. When his condition stabilized, Dr. Bong contacted the ward health station to update the situation and notify his family to come pick him up, ensuring the patient's safety.
