On December 1, 1945, the first Party cell of Tu Ky district (the predecessor of Tu Ky district Party Committee) was established in An Phong street (now An Giang village, Quang Phuc commune, Tu Ky) with 3 party members led by comrade Pham Nguyen Luong as Secretary. Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha Tuong (aka Nguyen Thi Kim) was 1 of the 3 party members of the cell.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha Tuong was born in 1928, from Xuan Giang commune, Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh). Comrade Tuong is currently a party member at Party Cell 4, Giang Vo Ward Party Committee, Ba Dinh District ( Hanoi ).
Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha Tuong used to hold the positions of Secretary of the Women's Union for National Salvation of Tu Ky district; Member of the Resistance Protection Committee, Member of the Tu Ky District Party Committee; Secretary of the Women's Union of Ninh Giang district; Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Women's Union of Ha Dong province, Vice Principal and Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Pharmacy... She also participated in writing articles on Party building work in universities and colleges.
In recognition of the contributions of comrade Nguyen Thi Ha Tuong, the Party and State have awarded her many noble awards such as the First and Second Class Resistance Medals.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha Tuong is one of the very few party members who worked in Tu Ky district to be honored to receive the 80-year Party membership badge. Up to now, the Tu Ky district Party Committee has not had a party member receive the 80-year Party membership badge.
