Talking about her passion for natural sciences, Mai said that she had a talent for math since she was a child, but during her secondary school years, she found herself more interested in chemistry. She found the subject interesting, helping her explain many phenomena in life. From then on, Hien Mai pursued a major in chemistry.

Before this year's graduation exam, Hien Mai felt quite stressed and pressured because this was the first year taking the exam according to the 2018 generaleducation program.

To keep myself calm before and during the exam, I decided to stop using social networks before the exam, not to contact online information sources, and not to interact much to avoid psychological disturbances.

During the exam, I avoided texting friends and relatives, did not rush to reply to inquiries, and did not contact friends to compare exam results... In general, at important moments, Mai always took the initiative to give herself the necessary quiet time.

According to Hien Mai, it was keeping herself calm during the period of feeling pressured that helped her to be calm and pass the graduation exam in the best way. In addition, Hien Mai's family did not put any pressure on her during the studying and taking the exam, so she felt more comfortable when taking the exam.

The female student enjoys watching movies, playing the piano, playing some sports ... to relax outside of school hours. Although she is a good student, Mai said that there are times when she finds it difficult to study. When she feels down, she always tells herself that luck only comes to those who know how to try and make an effort.

The female student's current dream is very simple, she hopes to become a good person, have a stable job, have a good income, to achieve the first and most important goal in her life, which is to be filial to her parents.

My idol is my mother, a businesswoman in the fashion industry. I have observed how she works to gradually build her own career. This makes me feel very admiring and inspired when observing how my mother balances work and family.

Currently, Mai does not have any specific direction for herself. She believes that creating a direction that is too clear for the future is a self-limitation. She wants to leave all possibilities for development open. Mai tells herself that she will try her best with the things she is doing and will do, to understand herself more and more, thereby finding suitable development opportunities.

In grade 9, Mai won first prize in the provincial chemistry competition for excellent students. She was admitted directly to the specialized chemistry class of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, and then became the class monitor of the specialized chemistry class. In grades 11 and 12, Mai participated in the provincial chemistry competitions for excellent students, and won third and second prizes respectively.

Mai is good at all subjects, especially natural sciences. In her final year, she achieved an average score of over 9.5 in all three subjects: math, physics, and chemistry.
