In Tan Hung district, the peak flood level in 2023 occurred on October 25th, reaching 2.28m, 37cm lower than the peak flood level in 2022. In recent days, the floodwaters have receded by 1-2cm per day and night. On October 31st, the water level measured in Tan Hung town was 2.20m, 1cm lower than the previous day and 33cm lower than the same period last year.

In Vinh Hung district, the flood peak occurred on October 25th, reaching 2.25m, 29cm lower than the 2022 flood peak. The water level measured in Vinh Hung town on October 31st was 2.22m, 1cm lower than the previous day. It is predicted that in the next few days, the floodwaters will continue to recede by 1-2cm per day.
