In Hai Lang district, more than 1,480 households were flooded; many roads such as National Highway 49C, Provincial Road 584, and inter-commune routes were flooded 0.3 - 1m deep.
In the mountainous districts of Huong Hoa and Dakrong, many bridges are flooded from 1-3.5m, causing complete isolation. Dong Ha city and Quang Tri town are also experiencing localized flooding. Some national highways such as National Highway 15D, National Highway 49C, and the National Highway 1A bypass are blocked due to deep flooding.



In the whole Quang Tri province, more than 18,300 hectares of rice, 996 hectares of vegetables, and 100 hectares of aquaculture were flooded; 285 houses were flooded in Quang Tri town, of which 70 houses were flooded over 1 meter deep. In Dakrong, 1 car was swept away, 1 house was seriously eroded. A series of embankments, dams, and traffic routes were damaged and eroded.
Mr. Hoang Nam, Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, said that in the face of the above situation, localities in the province promptly evacuated more than 400 households, mainly in Hai Lang, Cam Lo, Trieu Phong, Dakrong and Huong Hoa districts.
In particular, in Lao Bao town, Huong Hoa district, local police forces quickly and promptly responded and evacuated nearly 50 elderly people and children from the deeply flooded area.
