This can be considered a big loss because both were strong contestants and were considered capable of competing for the championship.

When two of the strongest candidates left the game, the situation probably became more predictable. In the first final night, the two "good fighters" of Coach B Ray's team, Robber and GILL, were clearly dominating. On the contrary, the contestants of Suboi, BigDaddy or Karik were somewhat at a disadvantage, they needed to break out strongly if they still wanted to compete for the championship.

As for GILL, he is someone who has had a career associated with trap, club, and flexing music. In all 3 previous rounds, the male rapper brought performances with similar colors. This made many audiences think that GILL has not really made a breakthrough at Rap Viet 2024.

He switched flows and voices constantly, from gang rap on a thick bass line to closing tunes, then to his own distinctive mumble rap style for the show.

Robber’s explosive performance left the coaches and judges stunned. Changmo, a famous judge from Korea, said that although he had heard a lot about Robber, the rapper’s performance was even more than he had imagined. “This performance must be in the top 10 best performances in Asia!”, Changmo concluded.

Karik's MANBO was among the most popular contestants on the show. In the final round, the male contestant continued his familiar lyrical style, but this time it was on a gentle beat, more narrative and emotional than the previous round. Coach Karik gave MANBO the theme of "responsibility", and the male rapper had a relatively good performance. However, compared to the two performances of GILL or Robber, MANBO clearly still had difficulty on the championship track.

Before his team’s performance, Karik could not hide his emotions. Tran Thanh said that Karik shed tears while watching MANBO perform. The male coach also admitted that he is a “teary-minded” person, especially in special moments like the final round.

The remaining three contestants, CoolKid, Saabirose and DANMY, also left their own mark. In particular, DANMY brought the image of his hometown into the final round, this time the land of Hai Phong . With a powerful drill style, rarely seen in female rappers in Vietnam, Karik's contestant can be considered one of the rappers with the best performance in the first round.

After the first final, it was clear that Gill and Robber were the favorites to win the championship. However, the votes of the coaches and judges only decided 40% of the match result, the remaining 60% belonged to the audience vote.
