The implementation of two-level local government requires the synchronization and stability of all infrastructure, especially energy infrastructure. Faced with this reality, Lang Son Electricity Company has proactively developed a detailed plan to ensure that there is no interruption in the supply of electricity to the Party Committee headquarters, People's Committees, public administrative service centers of communes and wards, as well as relevant agencies throughout the province.
Mr. Vu Khanh Toan, Deputy Director of Lang Son Electricity Company, said: The first thing the company will do before July 1 is to quickly reorganize the power sector in charge of districts and cities (previously) to suit the two-tier local government model. Accordingly, the company has established regional power management teams. The key task of the teams is to ensure safe, stable and continuous power supply to serve socio -economic development, national security and defense and people's lives in the management area.
Mr. Dao Xuan Thanh, Team Leader of the Electricity Management Team of Xu Lang Area (formerly Lang Son City Electricity) shared: to carry out the newly assigned task, the team quickly organized to review all customer data. Accordingly, the team is currently managing more than 67 thousand electricity customers in 4 wards and 4 communes (after the merger). At the same time, the Electricity Management Team of Xu Lang Area also proactively developed a power supply plan and assigned specific tasks to electricity staff to inspect, review, and consolidate the entire power grid and transformer stations supplying electricity to the area of 4 wards and 4 newly established communes in Lang Son city and Cao Loc district before.
Together with the Xu Lang Regional Power Management Team, 8 regional power management teams in charge of other areas also quickly deployed to review the entire number of managed customers, the number of transformer stations, power lines, etc. to develop plans and establish power supply plans to serve the electricity needs of administrative agencies, organizations, businesses and people immediately after implementing the two-level local government model.
Mr. Pham Ngoc Viet, Head of Technical Department, Lang Son Electricity Company said: Implementing the direction of the company's leaders, to ensure stable power supply for the activities of the Party Committee headquarters, People's Committee, public administration service center and related agencies of 65 new communes and wards, the department has coordinated with regional electricity management teams to deploy technical management solutions such as: cleaning medium voltage lines; replacing some materials and equipment (lightning arresters, isolating switches, etc.) that do not ensure operation on the lines. At the same time, the Technical Department has strengthened inspection and supervision of technical management and operation at regional electricity management teams, thereby ensuring stable power supply in the area.
Since July 1, regional power management teams have inspected, reviewed and organized to completely fix the existing problems affecting the power grid. At the same time, the teams have proactively arranged operational forces to detect and handle unusual phenomena or incidents, avoiding power outages in the management area.
In particular, since July 1, the regional electricity management teams have regularly worked with the authorities of new communes and wards to grasp the needs, plans for expansion, upgrading and renovation of administrative headquarters, especially the areas where public administrative service centers are located, to proactively develop appropriate power supply plans, avoiding passive interruptions in the reception and handling of administrative procedures of organizations, businesses and people.
With the timely establishment of regional power management teams, as well as the continued implementation of technical solutions, Lang Son Power Company has been aiming to provide stable power supply, in accordance with the new government model, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of 65 communes and wards in particular and Lang Son province in general.
