On the afternoon of May 8, the People's Council of Da Lat City, term XII, 2021 - 2026, held the 9th session, the 2nd thematic session in 2023 to review, give opinions and conduct personnel work under its authority.

At this session, the People's Council of Da Lat City approved the proposal to dismiss Mr. Ton Thien San, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Lat City, from the duties of the People's Council delegate for the 12th term, 2021 - 2026, due to his transfer from April 2023 to work as Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Lam Dong province and Colonel Nguyen Tan Vu, former Head of Da Lat City Police, transferred to work as Head of Bao Loc City Police.
Also at this session, Mr. Dang Quang Tu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Lat City Party Committee, Chairman of the Da Lat City People's Council was elected as Chairman of the Da Lat City People's Committee for the 12th term, 2021 - 2026 with 30/30 votes in favor, reaching 100%.
It is known that before becoming the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Lat City Party Committee, Mr. Dang Quang Tu held the position of Head of the Organization Committee of the Da Lat City Party Committee.
