Here, Mr. H. was examined, given first aid, given IV fluids and anti-inflammatory drugs.
During the treatment, Mr. H's health is stable and he is being monitored at the Department of Internal Medicine, Son Hoa Medical Center.
According to information from Son Hoa Medical Center, the green snake that bit Mr. H. has the scientific name Trimeresurus stejnegeri. This is a venomous snake that lives mainly at night, clinging to tree branches or crawling on the ground.
The green color of the snake is similar to that of grass, making it difficult for many people to detect. Correctly identifying the snake species after being bitten is an important factor in assessing the level of danger. The venom of the green viper can cause necrosis, blood clotting disorders and many serious complications if not treated promptly.
