On May 28, at the 12th Session (Special Session), the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, term X, term 2021-2026, elected Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
The delegates discussed, unanimously voted, and dismissed Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh from the position of Head of the Legal Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council, and elected him to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, with 47/51 votes, reaching 92.16%.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, born on December 12, 1972, hometown Thanh Duc commune, Go Dau district, Tay Ninh province; political theory qualification: Bachelor; professional qualification: Master of Economic Law, Bachelor of Law.
In addition to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, he also holds the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
The Provincial People's Council also elected Mr. Truong Nhat Quang (born July 15, 1973, hometown Long Vinh commune, Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province), member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, as Head of the Legal Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council, Term X, 2021-2026, with 47/51 votes, reaching 92.16%.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council also voted to dismiss Mr. Vo Duc Trong from the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Previously, on April 10, at the 11th Conference of the 10th term, 2019-2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province unanimously agreed to elect Mr. Vo Duc Trong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, term 2019-2024.
After electing and dismissing positions, the Session discussed reports, submissions, draft resolutions, and reports on the examination of draft resolutions such as: Resolution stipulating a number of contents on support expenditure levels for drug addiction treatment and post-rehabilitation management in the province; Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 43/2022/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2022 of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province stipulating principles, criteria, and norms for allocating state budget capital and the proportion of counterpart capital to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development for the 2021-2025 period in the province; Resolution stipulating a number of expenditure contents and support levels for implementing the One Commune One Product Program in the province, 2024-2025 period; Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the 2024 Public Investment Plan from the state budget./.
