On the morning of May 10, National Assembly deputies of Khanh Hoa province, including Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Politburo member, Head of the Central Economic Committee; Le Huu Tri - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Xuan Than - Chairman of the Provincial Lawyers Association, met with voters before the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly in Van Ninh district. Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Le Huu Hoang - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also attended the conference.

At the meeting, voters of Van Ninh district proposed a number of contents: The National Assembly delegation of Khanh Hoa province should increase contact activities with voters to promptly monitor, track, propose and promptly adjust the specific mechanisms that the National Assembly has issued for Van Phong Economic Zone; the implementation of projects in Van Ninh needs to ensure good resettlement, job creation, livelihoods, and ecological environment for local people, especially fishermen and farmers; the province should soon establish and announce detailed plans for Van Phong Economic Zone sub-zones to call for investment and settle people; strengthen supervision of national key projects to fight corruption and waste, and resolve inappropriate projects in the area: the western rest stop in Dai Lanh commune, Vavisal hotel, Dai Lanh Five-star resort; speed up the progress of granting land use right certificates to people; the National Assembly should soon pass the amended Land Law...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Politburo member, Head of the Central Economic Commission said that the conference to meet voters in Van Ninh district provided a lot of information and data for National Assembly deputies to contribute comments on draft laws such as the Land Law, Real Estate Law, etc. The National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa province will receive and have working programs with relevant authorities and localities to urge and supervise the response to voters' petitions.
