(TN&MT) - The People's Committee of Tra Vinh province recently held a ceremony to announce and present the Decision on the transfer and appointment of the Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tra Vinh province. Accordingly, at this ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Internal Affairs announced the Decision of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province regarding the transfer and temporary appointment of Mr. Truong Van Huy, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Duyen Hai district, to the position of Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tra Vinh province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Han, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tra Vinh province in the past period; and at the same time, extended his congratulations to Mr. Truong Van Huy. According to Mr. Le Van Han, natural resources and environment is a broad field with a large volume of work, significantly affecting the stability and socio- economic development of the province. Therefore, Mr. Le Van Han, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, also requested Mr. Truong Van Huy, in his new position, to continue to utilize his intellect, qualifications, abilities, and experience, constantly strive and improve his spirit and responsibility in his work, and unite with the staff and employees of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to successfully complete tasks and build a stronger unit.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Truong Van Huy, the new Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tra Vinh province, respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the leaders of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, and relevant departments and agencies for their attention and trust. In his new position, Mr. Truong Van Huy pledged to quickly familiarize himself with the work, focus on research, engage in democratic discussions, and work together in unity with the leadership, officials, and employees of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to effectively fulfill his assigned responsibilities and duties. He also expressed his hope to continue receiving more attention, leadership, guidance, and timely assistance from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, as well as close cooperation from all levels, sectors, agencies, units, and localities, so that the Department of Natural Resources and Environment can successfully complete its assigned tasks and make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the province.
